Terms of Service
Effective 13 October 2026
In short
- PlanGent is an AI planning agent. It prepares baseline programs from the documents you give it, and you review them before you submit them.
- You own your files and the outputs PlanGent makes for you.
- AI can make mistakes. You stay responsible for the program you submit, so check every output in your own scheduling software.
- Credits pay for the work PlanGent does. Beta credits are free and have no cash value.
- Use PlanGent lawfully and only with files you have the right to share.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of PlanGent (“PlanGent”, “we”, “us”): Ahmed Saher Raafat Elkhoreibi, an individual trading as PlanGent, Cairo, Egypt. They apply to the PlanGent website, the PlanGent agent and every output it produces (together, the “Service”).
If you use PlanGent for a company or other organization, you accept these Terms for that organization and confirm that you are authorized to do so. In that case “you” means the organization.
Our Privacy Policy, Usage Policy and AI Disclosure form part of these Terms.
2. What PlanGent does
PlanGent reads the documents you upload (bills of quantities, drawings, contracts, project rules and similar files), asks you about the decisions that are yours to make, and produces planning outputs. Outputs include a Primavera P6 program file (.xer), a BOQ-to-activity mapping workbook and a DCMA 14-point assessment, and may include further reports as the Service develops.
PlanGent is in beta. Features may change, and some formats or outputs may not be available yet. We describe what is available on our website and in the app.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- During the beta, accounts are opened with an invite code. You may sign in with an email and password or with a supported identity provider (such as Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn).
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share an account between people; team plans give each member their own seat.
4. Your content and outputs
Ownership
You keep all rights to the files and messages you provide (“Input”). As between you and PlanGent, you own the outputs PlanGent produces for you (“Output”), and we assign to you any rights we may have in them.
What you allow us to do
You allow us to store, copy and process your Input and Output only to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and as described in the Privacy Policy.
Learning from projects
If you choose to allow it, PlanGent learns anonymized planning patterns from your projects, for example which kind of BOQ item belongs to which activity, so its recommendations improve. It never shares your files, project or client names, prices or quantities with anyone else. You can switch this off at any time; it is offered as a clear choice when you create your account, not hidden in these Terms.
Your responsibilities
Upload only files you have the right to share with us, for example under your contract with your client. Do not upload information that you are not allowed to disclose.
5. Accuracy and professional responsibility
PlanGent uses artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, misread a document or reach a conclusion a planner would not. Outputs are drafts that support a qualified planner; they are not professional engineering, legal or contractual advice.
- Review every output, open the program in your own scheduling software, and check it against your contract before you submit or rely on it.
- We do not guarantee that a client, task owner or engineer will approve a program, that a program meets a particular contract, or that a project will finish on the dates shown.
- A passing DCMA 14-point result describes the schedule’s structure. It does not prove that the durations, logic or quantities are right for your site.
6. Acceptable use
Follow our Usage Policy. In short: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits of the Service, no access to other users’ data, and no use of PlanGent to build a competing product from its outputs or behavior.
7. Plans, credits and payment
- PlanGent’s work is measured in credits. Reading documents, mapping, building and checking all use credits; the app shows your balance.
- Beta credits are free, have no cash value and may expire when the beta ends.
- When paid plans start, the prices, included credits and features of each plan are shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Subscriptions renew each month until canceled. You can cancel at any time, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Monthly credits renew each month and do not roll over. Extra credits you buy do not expire while your account is open.
- Credits used for completed work are not refundable. If the Service fails to deliver work you were charged for, tell us and we will restore the credits. Refunds of payments follow our Refund Policy.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change for an active subscription.
8. Our intellectual property
PlanGent, its software, its method, its activity libraries and its website are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you rights in them other than the right to use the Service as described. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
PlanGent relies on third-party providers for hosting, storage, AI models and email, listed on our Subprocessors page. Primavera P6 and other products named on our site belong to their owners; PlanGent is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
10. Suspension and ending your use
You can stop using PlanGent and close your account at any time by writing to us. We will then delete your projects and files as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the Usage Policy, that creates a security or legal risk, or that is unpaid. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your outputs.
11. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including delay, liquidated damages, lost profit, lost contracts or lost data, arising from the Service or its outputs.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim and USD 100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
13. Your responsibility to us
If you use the Service for a business, you will cover our reasonable costs from claims by third parties caused by your Input or by your breach of these Terms, for example uploading files you had no right to share.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We improve PlanGent continuously and may add, change or remove features. We may update these Terms; for a significant change we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service before the change applies.
15. Governing law and disputes
We would rather solve a problem than argue about it, so please write to us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days.
These Terms and any dispute about them or the Service are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction. If you use PlanGent as a consumer, you keep any protection that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.
16. General
- If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, and will tell you if we do.
- These Terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
