Refund Policy
Effective 14 October 2026
In short
- Changed your mind? Within 7 days of a payment, we refund what you have not used.
- Credits already used for completed work are not refundable.
- If PlanGent fails to deliver work, we restore those credits; if it is down for a paid plan, we compensate per affected day.
- Cancel a subscription at any time: it stays active until the end of the month you paid for.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to payments made to Ahmed Saher Raafat Elkhoreibi, trading as PlanGent for monthly plans and credit packs. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Free, beta, welcome, referral and other promotional credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
2. Refunds within 7 days
- Credit packs: within 7 days of the payment, we refund the credits from that pack that you have not used, in proportion to the price you paid.
- A new subscription: within 7 days of the first payment, if you cancel, we refund the part of the month’s included credits you have not used, in proportion to the price you paid.
- Renewals: a monthly renewal can be refunded within 7 days of the renewal date if none of that month’s included credits have been used.
3. What is not refundable
- Credits already used for completed work (reading documents, mapping, building and checking a program).
- Requests made more than 7 days after the payment, except where the law requires otherwise or under the next section.
- Free, beta and promotional credits.
4. When PlanGent does not deliver
Failed work. If a task stops with an error on our side (for example, a build that fails, or an upload we accepted but could not read), we restore every credit that task used. We check it against the task’s log and restore the credits within 2 working days of your report.
Service unavailable. If a problem on our side makes PlanGent unavailable to a paid plan for more than 24 hours in a row, or for more than 48 hours in total in one billing month, we compensate for every affected day:
- Amount = monthly plan price × affected days ÷ days in that month, counting each started day as a whole day.
- Example: Pro at EGP 9,999 and 3 affected days in a 30-day month: 9,999 × 3 ÷ 30 = EGP 1,000 (rounded up).
- Paid as credits at your plan’s rate by default, or refunded to the card or wallet you paid with if you ask.
- Not counted: maintenance we announce in the app at least 24 hours ahead (at most 4 hours a month), and problems with your own connection, devices or files.
- Measured from our own incident log; tell us within 7 days of the outage and we confirm the amount within 2 working days.
5. Duplicate or wrong charges
If you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference in full, whenever you tell us.
6. Canceling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and it does not renew after that. Canceling on its own does not refund the current month; the 7-day rules above still apply.
7. How to ask for a refund
Refunds are handled by email only. Email billing@plangentai.com from the email address of your PlanGent account, with the date and amount of the payment.
We reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are sent within 7 working days to the card or wallet you paid with, through our payment provider, Paymob, in Egyptian pounds (EGP). Your bank may take a further 7 to 14 days to show it.
